Bouygues Construction is a global player in construction, with operations in more than 80 countries. It designs, builds and operates projects in the sectors of building, infrastructure and industry. Following Bouygues’ group wide IT strategy, the several existing payroll accounting systems for more then 2’000 employees in Switzerland had to be integrated into one SAP HCM system.
Different business units had different requirements regarding the solution. These requirements were identified and aligned. In order to fulfill all requirements the identified gaps in the SAP system were bridged. Also there were many technical interfaces to be established to ensure communication to a portfolio of group wide IT-systems, to systems operated by different divisions and to external providers as well. PROCOMM coordinated technical design, implementation in SAP, testing and acceptance of these interfaces representing Bouygues interests.
The successfully executed consolidation project resulted in a centralized, fully equipped HR and Payroll Accounting system which is used by all 8 Bouygues divisions in Switzerland. All industry-specific legal particularities of construction, cleaning and facility-management business have been covered.
